K.R. & Gina moved to the Johnston area in September 2021. Having lived in Pennsylvania all of their lives, they chose the DSM area to be near their daughter, Olivia and her husband, TJ, who live in West Des Moines. Their son, Luke, and his wife, Nikki, reside in Los Angeles. K.R. & Gina met at a fitness center in the Pittsburgh area where she worked in 1987, and he proposed to her by the Nautilus low back machine that same year. They have been married for 34 years. K.R. managed that fitness center for several years. They also owned a cleaning supply company in the early 90s.
Beginning in the mid 90s until last fall prior to moving to Johnston, they served at two churches as Children’s Pastor and then planted a new congregation in central Pennsylvania which they led for almost 18 years. That church, Family Life of Penns Valley (www.flpv.org), continues to grow!
Both K.R. & Gina continue to be involved in missions work in Zambia and Uganda with Haven of Hope Global Ministries (www.havenofhopeglobal.org). K.R. also began a ministry “Rock-n-Roll Ministries” (www.rocknrollministries.org) following a coast-to-coast bike ride. Gina also works part time as an Office Manager for an Urbandale church.
They are excited to be a part of the Johnston and surrounding communities. K.R. & Gina love to travel (especially to the beach!) when they have the opportunity and have always enjoyed serving together as a team.

No. Access to our 24/7 Fitness & Training Center is for everyone! We do, however, have Personal Trainers (if you would like) who will help you design a workout plan to help you be successful in reaching your goals.

If you’re taking 141, head north from the I35, turn right on SE 37th*, go east to 100th, turn left and go north on 100th, turn left and go west on 62nd Ave. At the intersection of 62nd Ave and 103rd, turn right and go NORTH on 103rd, curve left onto Catalina Dr. then turn left onto 106th. We are the last driveway on the right.
